Today is Sarah's 21st Birthday!!

Sarah is my oldest and closest friend.  We've known each other practically FOREVER.

When we were in kindergarten we used to have playdates where would eat McDonalds and then play in the little sandbox in my backyard.

Uhhh...sandwagon, I guess.

Sarah and I were placed in different classes from first grade through fourth grade, so we didn't really talk that much over that period of time.  But when we wound up in Mrs. Kirk's fifth grade class, we were BFFs til the end (...aka right now).

We've been through awkward phases together....

Uhhh my sister's wedding.  Neither of us is married.

and so much more...

I'm really only partially amazed that we've remained friends through all these things, including college (since she goes to school in freakin' OHIO).  Sarah is one of those friends that you know you should keep in your life, because she's such a good person.  Time after time she's reminded me who I am and what kind of person I want to be.  She's known me for so long, that she's probably an expert by now.  I'm so glad to have a friend like Sarah in my life and I plan on keeping it that way for many years to come!
